Position: Social Mobilization Consultant (SMC)
Outline:
Provided technical SBC support to a team of Social Mobilizers and as well coordinated Demand Generation work stream of the project in Enugu State
Key Responsibilities
•Co-ordinated, tracked and reported on the demand generation activities being implemented in the 17 LGAs in Enugu State.
•Conducted the implementation of DMPA-SC/SI Family Planning mass media activity through regular radio program, use of fliers, social media, SMS.
•Co-ordinated and provided technical SBCC support to a team of community volunteers within the LGAs in Enugu state.
•Supported the implementation of the project’s close-out activities including project review sessions, documentation and learning in Enugu state.
•Built on CCSI partnership within the state to ensure that the gains made in generating demand for DMPA-SC/SI are sustained across all LGAs in Enugu state.
•Supported the State Program Officer (SPO) to ensure integration of social mobilization activities with service delivery including the development of work plans to integrate activities of community volunteers with CORPS.
•Worked closely with the Centre for Communication and Social Impact (CCSI) to support all aspects of the implementation of the RASuDiN demand generation strategy.
•Supported Social Mobilization data management tasks (data collation, data analysis and results reporting).
